In this chapter we will cover the options available in the Cable Management menu.
From the Main Menu bar, select IT Studio, then Cable Management. This is shown below:
The selections on the fly out menu will be thoroughly covered in this chapter. The chapter is laid out in the order of the menu above. However, please note that this is NOT the order in which you would proceed when initially building this part of your drawing. You should proceed through the Menu as follows:
Install Cable Trays first. Do your intersection ('T', 'L' and '+') pieces first. Then do your straight pieces. It is easier to approach it this way as the system will install the straight trays as a point-to-point connection.
Edit Connections second. Actually what you are doing here is defining the ports on your equipment so you know where to connect to.
Connect Devices third. After having completed the two previous steps you can actually make the connections.
