In this chapter we will cover the options available in the Install Equipment menu and the Rack Management menu. Installing equipment will be covered first so that the basics can be covered. It will then be easier to work through the options for managing your racks.
To access Install Equipment, from the Main Menu bar, select IT Studio, then Install Equipment. This is shown below:
To access Rack Management, from the Main Menu bar, select IT Studio, then Rack Management. This is shown below:
Note at the bottom of the fly out menu that Rack Utilities also has a fly out menu:
The selections on both fly out menus will be thoroughly covered in this chapter. The chapter is basically laid out in the order of the menus above, starting with initially how to install equipment.
